Recognizing Rug Pulls and Red Flags · 1/2
What a rug pull looks like
A rug pull is when a project's creators hype a token, collect investor funds, then disappear, often by draining the liquidity pool or minting unlimited new tokens to sell. Losses are usually total and irreversible.
Warning signs: anonymous teams with no track record, unrealistic guaranteed returns, liquidity claims that aren't actually verified on-chain, and pressure to buy immediately before missing out.
