Building Your First Robot: End-to-End Project

This is the capstone of the Robotics Hardware & Systems track, and it doesn't teach new theory so much as force you to apply everything from the first three courses at once. You'll scope a small differential-drive rover with basic obstacle avoidance, choose real components using the actuator, embedded compute, and power tradeoffs you already know, wire the thing together without frying anything, write a first control loop that actually closes the sensor-to-motor loop, and then debug it when (not if) it doesn't work the first time. If the earlier courses gave you the vocabulary and the mental models, this one is where you find out which parts of that understanding are actually load-bearing.
