Cross-Chain Interoperability

Rollups inherit their security from a single underlying chain, but most of the blockchain world is not one chain with many layers, it's many entirely independent chains that share nothing by default. This course examines the hard problem of moving assets and information between sovereign blockchains: why the two sides of a bridge can never directly see each other, the architectural patterns engineers use to fake that visibility, the verification mechanisms that decide how much trust a bridge actually requires, and why bridges have become the single riskiest piece of infrastructure in the industry.
