This course covers how AI agents reach outside their own text generation to call real functions, query real APIs, and take real actions in the world. It's part 2 of the AI Agents & Automation track, building directly on the perceive-reason-act-observe loop from Agent Architectures & Planning, and is for anyone ready to move from an agent that reasons about a task to one that actually executes it. Expect to learn schema design, the call-execute-observe cycle, error handling, and the security discipline that keeps a tool-using agent from becoming a liability.
